Drabbles (< 100 words)
trekwriter151: (Default)
Notes: I made Chef from Italy, and his name is Antonio. Italian: Buon giorno (good morning/day), Ciao, ragazze. (Hello, ladies.) Ciao, ci vediamo! (Bye, see you later!)Small references to ENT "Two Days Two Nights"
My OC Quartermaster (Master Chief) Antoine Desgauld is mentioned in "Five Weddings (and a Funeral for my Sanity)" and "A Klingon and an Englishman Walk into a Bar"

Chapter One )
trekwriter151: by <lj user="cedarrapidsgirl>" (malcolm hoshi)
Chef does wonders with mokka on Movie Night. Hoshi wears 'that dress', and the crew discovers the joy of Dnayui chocolate.

Mentions of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Chocolate' and 'Winnie the Pooh'

Italian: pasticceria di cioccolatto (chocolate shop), captiano (captain, referring to Archer), amore (love), Tenente (Lieutenant), ragazzi (people, used in this case, it's more like the Southern ya'll), ciao a tutti! (See you later, everyone!

OCs: Ensign Philippe Trieste appears in "Five Weddings (and a Funeral for my Sanity)" and "A Klingon and an Englishman Walk into a Bar". He's Travis's gamma-shift helmsman. Lieutenant Capetl and Ensign Mujera work in Astrometrics and will appear again in a future story, "A Crack in the Universe"

Chapter Two )
trekwriter151: (TnT)
T'Pol indulges in some scientific analysis, with Trip's help. Malcolm discovers a new side to Hoshi, while Phlox feels protective towards Liz Cutler. A member of Engineering ends up in Sickbay (not Trip). Travis and a group of his Boomer friends decide to upgrade Shuttlepod One with some new Dnayui hardware.

French: "C'est le chocolat. Il y a une raison pour laquelle c'est la nourriture de l'amour.” (It's chocolate. There's a reason (why) it's the food of love.) “Mais oui.” (Of course.)

OCs: Ensign Neal Campbell is Hoshi's 2IC in the comm department. He was introduced in my story "Voices of Treachery".

Chapter Three )
trekwriter151: (TnT)
Don't own, don't sue. Originally written for the March History Challenge on The Delphic Expanse. My assignment was Renaissance Italy. Historical figures are mentioned in this story. A HUGE thank you to Honeybee for the beta!

Chapter One )
trekwriter151: (trip)
Disclaimer: Don't own 'em, don't make money off 'em. Star Trek Enterprise owned by CBS/Paramount. Doctor Who is owned by RTD and the BBC. Just borrowing the characters and the Tardis for a while.

Notes: This is my first long crossover story (ENT/DW). Trip Tucker and Malcolm Reed gets an unexpected ride in the TARDIS, but what's really going on? Where's the Tenth Doctor? Why has the Tardis appeared in the 22nd century? And how are Trip and Malcolm going to get the TARDIS back to its rightful owner?

Rating:T

Timeline note: Enterprise (5th season, a year after the last episode "Terra Prime").
Doctor Who (4th series, when Donna is the Tenth Doctor's Companion, later 5th series with the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond,Rory Williams and River Song)

We're going to be bouncing around many time zones as our so-called "Disaster Duo" tries to figure out where the TARDIS should go.

Chapter One: Present and Future Tense )
trekwriter151: (tenth)
Trip and Malcolm explore what's inside the Tardis and find more questions than answers.

Notes to DW/Torchwood newbies: Captain Jack Harkness is the leader of Torchwood Three and a friend of the Doctor's. He was one of the Ninth and Tenth's Doctor's companions for a little while (and a Time Agent from the 51stcentury). Trip and Malcolm assume he's the TARDIS's owner, since they don't know him. (And Jack's speaks with an American accent, not an English one). You'll actually see Jack later. Owen is Dr. Owen Harper, Torchwood Three's medic.

The Chameleon Circuit is the device that's supposed to hide the TARDIS by making it look like something more appropriate to the time it's landed in. Problem is, it got stuck, and so the TARDIS is stuck in the form of the 60's Police Box.

Can you identify the various Doctors whose clothes are in the wardrobe? And the other costumes from a certain actor appreciation thread? :-p And Malcolm finds the infamous wandering swimming pool mentioned in DW “The Eleventh Hour”.

Spoilers: ENT “Dead Stop”, “United”, “Twilight”, “In A Mirror Darkly, I” Doctor Who “The Eleventh Hour” “Victory of the Daleks.”

Thank you to EntAllat for the beta for this chapter!

Chapter Two: The Maze of Impossible Rooms )
trekwriter151: (doctor who)
Trip and Malcolm try to puzzle out the TARDIS's systems. They discover some of the ship's history and clues as to whom the TARDIS belongs to. (We know, but our heroes don't. Yet.) Trip finds out one of Malcolm's well-kept secrets regarding Hoshi. Later, they land in a very familiar place, but Trip finds that the ship has her own plans for Malcolm.

That plaque is really located under the floor of the control console of the TARDIS, with that exact inscription. "Authorised" is the British spelling of "authorized", and since that's the original spelling, I kept it that way.

Spoilers: ENT "Shockwave I/II", "Home", "Affliction/Divergence".  Can you guess which of the Companions Trip sees in the vision from the TARDIS?

Interlude in Infinity 1: More Questions, Less Answers )
trekwriter151: (doctor who)
Trip and Malcolm set out to return the sehlat to its rightful owner, but there are unknown dangers on Vulcan's Forge, like le-matyas. A picture of one of those is shown on Memory Alpha under its entry.

Spoilers ENT: "Desert Crossing", "Home". DW: "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" (Ninth Doctor/Rose, this is the episode where Captain Jack Harkness is introduced)

PS: I believe the TARDIS is definitely alive and has a mind of its own. And yeah, that's a sonic screwdriver.

Chapter Three: A Girl and her Sehlat )
trekwriter151: (fanfic)
Trip discovers Risa's other pleasures that he skipped the first time around. He also picks up more clues to the mysterious "Doctor" and "Rose", and meets a uniquely familiar Captain...

This isn't exactly the same as "Two Days and Two Nights". How many differences can you spot? And a nod to a certain piece of fan artwork? LOL! (Sorry, Bluetiger. This just fit perfectly in this chapter. :-p)

Spoilers: ENT "Two Days and Two Nights", "Acquisition". Torchwood, "Captain Jack Harness". (BTW, Harper's dead, but he isn't gone forever. He'll be back.) Kanar is a Cardassian alcoholic drink (TNG "The Wounded", DS9). Nuvian Masseuses are mentioned in ENT "Fallen Hero" and a Nuvian female was seen in ENT "Raijin".)

Chapter 4: Paradoxes in Paradise )
trekwriter151: (doctor who)
Malcolm's tight-lipped over what happened between him and the other universe's Hoshi. Trip finally meets the Doctor. Sort of, and it's the wrong one, but Trip picks up more valuable clues as to why he and Malcolm were "chosen" by the TARDIS. And how are the Doctor and Daniels connected?

Trip finds out Harper's real persona, but not his real name. And being a Time/Temporal Agent isn't as easy as it sounds.

Later, our duo stumble over the scene of a tragedy. How can they change it?

Spoilers! (Hee!): ENT "Two Days and Two Nights", "Acquisition", "Shockwave I and II", "First Flight", "Similitude", "Twilight".
Doctor Who: "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead", "The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone", "The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang"
Torchwood: "Captain Jack Harkness"
