The intoxicating smell of chocolate permeated the air as Hoshi pulled the first tray of cupcakes from the oven. She grinned and put it on the rack to cool. A large bowl of pineapple frosting sat on the counter next to her. This was always her favorite part: the icing.
Travis stuck his head into the galley. "Hey, I'm smelling something good in here."
"Hands off, Travis. These cupcakes are for someone special."
He looked at the pastries cooling on the rack, the pineapple frosting in the bowl.
"Okay," he said with a grin.
