The intrepid explorer dug his way out of the hole with relative ease. Mud covered him, but he didn't seem any worse for wear. He lay there at the edge, out of breath. It wasn't every day he hauled himself out of a hole all by himself. He'd been eating well lately, thanks to Chef, but maybe he should give up the ch-

He maneuvered around, gazing back down at the person trapped at the bottom of the hole. A pair of green eyes met his small brown ones, and he wagged his tail.
“Go! Get Trip, Porthos!”
